Agile Web Design – Flexible. Creative. Effective.

Contributed by: Stefan on 24 June 2025

I’m often asked what the ideal collaboration looks like when creating a website. The answer is simple: Agile workflows.

Once the core concept, structure, and design of a website are in place, the real creative phase begins – the agile collaboration. During this process, new ideas often emerge: while building the site, clients and designers may develop fresh concepts for navigation, add new content, or expand features. This close collaboration leads to tailor-made solutions that go far beyond the original plan.

I prefer this agile approach because it:

  • can significantly reduce turnaround time,

  • leads to clearly better results,

  • and most importantly: actively involves the client, making the final product easier to understand and connect with.

A great example: For the project lieberich.com, we worked hand in hand with the Art Director to shape the entire user experience and content – true co-creation.

And right now, we’re applying the same approach for asianbuses-roadtrip.com:
Together with Stefan, we react in real time during the tour, proposing and implementing new features on the fly, and we just launched a gallery under Highlights and photos of the tour, participants can upload their images – and they appear instantly online: emotional, vibrant, and up to date.
