From Bavaria to Borneo – Passion for Digital Design Across Continents

With roots in the early days of the internet, our journey began in 1997 with our first website launch in the then still-emerging World Wide Web. After years as co-owner of a full-service agency for print and online media in Germany, we took the next leap: leading digital media and web design at Bayern Design for the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs. 

Since 2014, our creative home has been Malaysia – with our agency Klaus Fuchs Communication, we’ve successfully designed and launched over 50 web projects in Malaysia, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, India and Australia.

Our focus: User Experience Design – combining smart concepts, clear design, and effective SEO. 
One of our very first Malaysian collaborations was with Asian Trucker Media Sdn Bhd – a partnership that has grown steadily over the years. From the MCVE to Iconic Trucks, and Asian Buses – we’ve proudly supported these initiatives both creatively and digitally.

The first Asian Buses Roadtrip (#SuperNiceTour2022) was already a milestone. When the second one was announced, we were immediately on board to help promote it. After laying out a vibrant mosaic of the Sarawak tour, the concept quickly took shape – and the result is now live!

Designing the website brought its own creative challenges – especially in finding the right visual identity. After exploring how Sarawak presents itself, we chose the bold colours of the Sarawak flag to reflect its energy and character. Open Sans in various weights complemented the vibrant colour palette perfectly; offering both clarity and personality.
